Products, checkout, and orders

Online store

The price range on a shop is wide, and honestly so: thirty products is a different job from five hundred, and a range with sizes and colours is different again from one without. What does not change is the shape of the work, so it is one service with a quote that reflects your catalogue rather than two tiers you have to place yourself in.

Suits: Makers, producers, and shops selling a real range — whether that is thirty products or five hundred.

Project, from
$8,900
Care, from
$190 a month
Typically
Four to eight weeks

One fixed number before work starts, not a range and not an hourly rate. The care plan is a separate decision — any site can take any plan, and this is just the one most clients of this kind pick.

What we actually do.

  1. 01

    Model the catalogue honestly

Products, variants, and stock built around how your range actually works rather than forced into a template's idea of it. Getting this wrong is the thing that makes a shop painful to run for years, and it is the part we spend the most time on.

  2. 02

    Hosted checkout, always

Payment happens on the provider's own checkout. Card details never reach our servers or yours, which is both safer and the reason your PCI obligations stay small. We wire it up and test it against real cards before launch.

  3. 03

    Make the first month survivable

Orders, stock, and shipping in one dashboard, plus the emails a customer expects at each step. The failure mode of a new shop is not traffic, it is the owner drowning in fulfilment admin in week two.

  • Everything in a website build
  • Products, variants, and stock you manage yourself

Pages it usually ends up with

  • Home

Your dashboard

  • HostingYour site is served, monitored, and backed up. Every tenant has this.
  • ContentThe details that change — hours, prices, key text — editable by you.
  • LeadsEnquiries from your site's forms, collected in one place.
  • StoreProducts, stock, and orders, with hosted checkout.
  • AnalyticsWho visits, what they read, and where they came from.

What this does not include.

Named up front, because the expensive version of this conversation is the one that happens in week four.

  • Subscriptions, memberships, or wholesale pricing — all quoted separately
  • Marketplace syncing to Amazon, Etsy, or eBay — an integration add-on
  • The payment provider's own transaction fees

Several of these are available as add-ons. They are priced against your site rather than from a list, which is why there is no number next to them on the services page.

Start with a conversation.

Forty five minutes, no charge, and no obligation. We will tell you what we would build, roughly what it costs, and whether you need it at all.
